Frequently Asked Questions
How can I sell vintage hi-fi equipment?
Send photographs and details of your equipment through our online valuation form for a free, no-obligation valuation. We will advise whether it may be suitable for auction and explain the consignment process.
Do you accept high-end audio equipment?
We welcome enquiries about collectible and high-end audio equipment, including amplifiers, turntables, loudspeakers, valve equipment, tape machines and digital components. Acceptance is subject to assessment.
Can I sell a complete hi-fi collection?
Yes, you can enquire about selling a collection or multiple components together. Please provide photographs and a brief description of the equipment. For larger systems and collections we can arrange a home visit across Surrey and South London.
Does my hi-fi equipment need to be working?
Not necessarily. Please tell us whether each item is working, partially working, untested or faulty. Condition and functionality may affect the valuation and auction suitability, but faulty equipment can still sell to restorers and for spares.
How much is my vintage hi-fi worth?
Value depends on the exact model, condition, originality, completeness, service history and current demand. A free valuation enquiry can help establish a suitable auction estimate.
Where can I see previous auction results?
Please browse our vintage hi-fi auction results and completed auction catalogues for examples of equipment previously offered. Individual results should be used as a guide rather than a guarantee of future prices.
